Type2
Filter
Ir-block coating is provided for each color of
LRGB.
This is highly
efficient in blocking Ir up to 1,130nm, thus adaptable to most of the CCDs.
The transmittance curve of each color crosses with each
other with a slow slope, making intermediate
color reproduction better.
UV
is blocked out. (Note
that Clear filter does not block UV.)
Blurred focusing
due to color aberration can be minimized when refractor systems are used.

CCD used is E chip of Kodak KAF series.
RGB Type2 (new)
Continuous Spectra: R=1.0 G=1.5 B=1.8
Planetary Nebula: H-alpha(R)=1.0 O-III(G,B)=1.5 H-beta(B)=1.3
CCD used is the normal
chip of Kodak KAF series.
RGB Type2 (new)
Continuous Spectra: R=1.0 G=1.3 B=2.4
Planetary Nebula: H-alpha(R)=1.0 O-III(G,B)=1.0 H-beta(B)=2.5

Filter
Ir-block coating is provided for each color of LRGB.
Three filters consisting of L, R
and B
will pass OII
through. G
filter will block UV range out.
The most outstanding feature is that like with naked eyes,
wavelengths shorter than 450nm will be reproduced as purple.
The
curve of R
is sloped slowly below 450nm so that Type 3 can successfully reproduce
monochromatic purple color, which used to be hard to achieve with the conventional
filters.
The transmittance curve of each color crosses with each
other with a slow slope, making intermediate
color reproduction better.
*Type3 Filter can only block
Ir up to about 1,050nm, because it passes OII of off-purple range.

Continuous Spectra: R=1.0 G=0.9 B=1.2
Planetary Nebula: H-alpha(R)=1.0 O-III(G,B)=1.5 H-beta(B)=1.4
